Line follower with an obstacle?????
Hey there.... Im tryin to build a line follower which could trace a line, navigate through obstacles and can find victims... the victims are flashing leds..... im usin the AT89s52 Hbridge and ir receiver and sensors to follow the line.... which equipment i should buy for my line follower to avoid an obstacle and help to find a victim..... pls send me the circuit diagram too if you have......

They are a number of ways to identify and avoid obstacles. It depends on the type of obstacles being used in the competition. Same is the case with finding victims. As Aamir as already mentioned in the above post you need to post more information regarding obstacles and victims.

The arena will have 3 parallel tracks which are indicated by the black lines of width 3 cm on a white background. The distance between any two adjacent tracks will be 32 cm. Obstacles will be placed on each track. The bot has to navigate to the empty parking slot and indicate the completion of the task. Before entering the parking zone, the bot has to indicate the reach of checkpoint. At the checkpoint, 5x5 array of IR-LED’s will be placed at the right side of each track. The obstacle will be a white colour wooden block of dimensions 5 cm x 5 cm x 10 cm. The track may have sharp turns. There are parking slots available at one end of the arena. At any point of time, only one parking slot is empty. The filled in parking slot will be a space of 30cm x 30cm x 20cm 3-walled box as shown below. The same can be used for signaling the completion of task.
