Hi yogadada,

You need to be more specific and provide more details. It all depends on your setup and circuit diagram.

Micromouse Project

Hi yogadada,

Yes you can use AT89S52 for micromouse project. The hardware of the micromouse -

  • AT89S52 microcontroller
  • TSOP 1738 receiver
  • IR LED Emitter
  • Stepper Motors

You can also use AVR Atmega16/32 microntrollers. They are more advanced.

Re:Circuit Designing Competetion

It will be preferable if you study from web rather than book in such a short span

A good place to start: Building-Electronic-Circuit-on-Breadboard

Try to simulate your program using AvrStudio

 Hi Humera,

It's nice that you are working on micro-mouse using atmega16, I would advice you to use avr studio for better debugging and simulation of your program. Avr-studio is a complete software which uses winavr, programmer's notepad and simulator to give you a better understanding of your program, with compiler, editor and simulator all in one window, that is avrstudio. And one can even integrate commercial programmer to program micro-controllers with generated hex code directly from avrstudio.

You need to install winavr and avr-studio setups, thats all !

Go through this avr-studio tutorial

Post your program with logic. Tell us more so that we can help you out.

Hi rocky, You need to

Hi rocky,

You need to elaborate. Provide a screenshot of your setup along with a circuit diagram. You need to explain how the ports of Atmega16 connected to rest of the setup. Then only you can write a program for it after you have finalized your circuit diagram.
